These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and participation in The Majulah Hunt (“the Campaign”), a digital geo-hunt experience hosted on the Majulah-Hunt web application platform (“the Platform”) and produced as part of Singapore’s National Day Parade 2026 (“NDP 2026”) celebrations.

The Campaign is run by the NDP Executive Committee and the Platform is developed and hosted by Accenture Pte Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) as part of our commitments.

By accessing or participating in The Majulah Hunt, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform or participate in the Campaign.

This document is the long-form legal version of the Terms shown on the Platform’s in-app /terms page. Where there is any inconsistency between the two, the in-app version governs the participant relationship and this document provides the supporting detail.

1Account and Username
1.1To participate in the Campaign you may be required to sign in using a supported identity provider (currently Google Sign-In) and to be issued a participant account on the Platform.
1.2On first sign-in, the Platform assigns you a display name (“username”) drawn from a pre-screened pool of Adjective–Colour–Animal combinations. You do not choose your username. Usernames are non-transferable.
1.3Your username must not be offensive, misleading or inappropriate. Because usernames are assigned from a screened pool, this requirement is met by design; however, we reserve the right to reject, reassign or remove any username that, in our reasonable view, does not comply with these Terms or is being used in connection with prohibited conduct.
1.4You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials of the identity provider account you use to sign in, and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
1.5You may participate using only one account. Creating, controlling or using multiple accounts — or sharing an account — to gain an advantage or bypass per-account limits is prohibited and is grounds for suspension or disqualification under Section 5.
1.6If you are under the age of 18 (a “Minor”), you may only participate in the Campaign or create an account on the Platform with the help and consent from a parent or legal guardian. You undertake to procure the necessary consents from your parent or legal guardian before doing any activities in the Campaign or accessing the Platform. By permitting a Minor to use the Platform and/or participate in the Campaign, your parent or legal guardian agrees to these Terms on both their own behalf and on behalf of you. Furthermore, your parent or guardian assumes all legal and financial responsibility for any actions, consequences, or liabilities incurred by you while participating in the Campaign or using the Platform.
2Discoveries and Check-ins
2.1A discovery is counted only when a check-in at a designated point of interest is successfully completed and verified through the Platform. The Platform validates location at the moment of each check-in.
2.2The mechanics that govern check-ins — including the list of points of interest, the weekly check-in allowance at standard points of interest, the schedule for bonus or limited-time points of interest, and the overall campaign end date — are published in-app and may be updated from time to time at our discretion.
2.3We may investigate, throttle, reject or invalidate any check-in that is fraudulent, duplicated, manipulated, mis-located, automated or otherwise invalid. Records held by our servers are conclusive in the event of any discrepancy with your device.
2.4At all times, you are responsible for your own safety, for compliance with traffic and crowd-control directions, and for the safety of those in your care. Do not attempt check-ins while driving or riding, do not enter restricted areas, and do not ignore on-site directions from event staff or authorities. You undertake to exercise caution, be aware of your surroundings and comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations when visiting any location in the course of or in connection with the Campaign. You understand that participation in the Campaign is not recommended for individuals with medical conditions that may be aggravated by physical activity.
2.5The following conduct in connection with check-ins is prohibited and may result in invalidation of discoveries, suspension of your account, withholding or recovery of rewards, and referral to law enforcement:
  • spoofing GPS, using emulators or other tools to misrepresent your location;
  • automating interaction with the Platform (bots, scripts, scrapers, headless browsers);
  • using multiple accounts (see Section 1.5); or
  • any other conduct intended to circumvent the published mechanics.
3Leaderboard
3.1The Platform operates a public leaderboard. Rankings and standings are based on Platform records and are governed by the published mechanics, which may include weekly resets, tie-breakers and prize-tier thresholds.
3.2Your username and aggregate progress will be visible to other participants and members of the public for the duration of your participation in the Campaign.
3.3We reserve the right to correct errors, adjust rankings, hide entries, recompute scores or remove participants from the leaderboard where necessary — including where we suspect fraud, abuse or a breach of these Terms.
3.4A position on the leaderboard, by itself, does not constitute an entitlement to any reward. Reward eligibility is determined under Section 4.
4Rewards and Redemption
4.1Users who meet the stated requirements may be eligible to claim a reward — including, where the Campaign provides for it, a plushie, a sticker, an exclusive bonus item or another physical or experiential reward. Eligibility criteria are published in-app and may include weekly milestones, leaderboard-tier outcomes or specific bonus mechanics with limited stock on a first-come-first-served basis.
4.2Claim vs. redemption. Claiming a reward is a two-step process: (a) you submit a claim within the Platform during the applicable window, and (b) you redeem the reward through the channel and within the period specified by us, which may involve a redemption partner. A reward is not considered redeemed until the redemption process has been successfully completed and verified.
4.3Redemption is subject to verification, validity periods, identification requirements set by us or by a redemption partner, and any stated stock availability. The window for chopes (claims) and redemptions may extend beyond the campaign end date and is governed by the separately published collection end date. You are responsible for redeeming within the published window. Unredeemed claims expire and cannot be reinstated.
4.4Rewards are personal to the eligible participant. Rewards are not transferable, cannot be sold or exchanged, and have no cash value.
4.5We may refuse, cancel, withhold or recover any reward, claim or redemption that is invalid, expired, duplicated, fraudulent, awarded in error, or associated with a breach of these Terms.
4.6Where a reward requires fulfilment by a third-party partner, that partner may have its own collection, identification or eligibility requirements. We may substitute a reward of equivalent value where the original reward becomes unavailable.
5Changes and Suspension
5.1We may, at any time and without liability to you, update the Campaign, the rewards, the mechanics (including check-in allowances, item-release schedules, leaderboard rules and the campaign or collection end dates), the list of points of interest, or these Terms.
5.2We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes through the Platform. Your continued participation after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Campaign rules or Terms.
5.3We may suspend, restrict, disqualify or terminate your access to the Platform — and invalidate any associated discoveries, items, leaderboard standing, claims or rewards — where we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or misused the Platform, or where required by law, safety or operational considerations.
5.4We may modify, suspend or discontinue any feature of the Platform, restrict access from particular regions, networks or devices, impose or vary usage limits, and terminate the Campaign in whole or in part.
5.5Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4.4–4.5 (reward non-transferability and recovery), 6 (Liability) and 7 (Privacy)) will continue to apply.
6Disclaimers and Liability
6.1The Platform and the Campaign are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express, implied or statutory, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement or uninterrupted operation.
6.2We do not warrant that any check-in, discovery, item, leaderboard placement, claim or reward will be available to you. Performance of the Platform may be affected by your device, your network, the availability of GPS or other location signals, the availability of upstream services (such as the identity provider or cloud infrastructure), and crowd conditions at points of interest.
6.3We do not warrant the safety, accessibility or condition of any physical point of interest, route or location associated with the Campaign. You are responsible for your own safety as set out in Section 2.4.
6.3ABy participating in the Campaign, you acknowledge and agree that:
  1. such participation involves physical activity, including travelling to various outdoor and indoor locations in Singapore; and
  2. such participation also involves potential risks, including risks associated with tripping, falling, heatstroke and dehydration.
You confirm that your participation in the Campaign is voluntarily and entirely at your own risk (whether foreseen or unforeseen), and confirm that you are physically and medically fit to participate in the Campaign.
6.4To the maximum extent permitted by law:
  1. we shall not be liable for any loss, delay, accident, error, delay, or interruption incurred, paid by or suffered by you in relation to the Platform or Campaign, including any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, and any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, opportunity or anticipated savings — except where liability cannot be excluded by law. We are also not liable for any personal injury (e.g. from tripping, falling, heatstroke, or dehydration), death, loss or damage to personal property, or any other harm that may arise from visiting any location in the course of or in connection with the Campaign.
For the purposes of this Section 6.4:
  1. “we” includes the Government of the Republic of Singapore, as represented by the Ministry of Defence and the Singapore Armed Forces (“MINDEF/SAF”), and MINDEF/SAF’s personnel; and
  2. “personnel”, in relation to MINDEF/SAF, means an officer, employee, serviceman, staff or agent of the MINDEF/SAF or any individual engaged by MINDEF/SAF under a contract for service.
6.5Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Platform or Campaign, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise, will not exceed SGD 100.
7Privacy
7.1Accenture processes your personal data for purposes of administering the Platform. When Accenture processes your personal data, further details are set out in below table:

In addition to the information set out above, please see the COOKIES STATEMENT that describes how Accenture uses cookies in the Platform. In case of disputes or claims, Accenture may retain your personal data as necessary for exercising or defending Accenture’s rights until the resolution of the dispute/claim.

8Intellectual Property
8.1The Platform, including its software, design, content, trademarks, logos, mascots, sticker artwork, plushie designs, point-of-interest imagery and other materials provided by us (the “Platform Materials”), is licensed to us, NDP EXCO and our licensors, and is protected by Singapore and international intellectual property laws.
8.2Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform Materials solely for the purpose of participating in the Campaign as an individual end-user.
8.3You may not, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by mandatory law, copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sub-licence or commercially exploit the Platform Materials, remove or obscure any proprietary notice, or use the Platform Materials to train, fine-tune, benchmark or evaluate any machine-learning model.
9Governing Law and Contact
9.1These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform, save that we may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property or the integrity of the Platform. Before commencing formal proceedings, you agree to make good-faith efforts to resolve the dispute with us informally.

10Miscellaneous
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any rules published in-app, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the Platform.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations to a successor entity within the Government of Singapore or to a vendor appointed to operate the Platform on our behalf.
No third-party rights. Save for MINDEF/SAF and its personnel (as defined above), a person who is not a party to these Terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce any of these Terms.
